Technology Nation – your gateway to IT industry
Technology Nation is an international educational program that allows anyone to study computer programming for free. It was initiated in 2015 by BrainBasket Foundation – Ukrainian nonprofit organization that stands for the development of IT industry. In one year Technology Nation project helped 1900 people in Ukraine to undertake free courses of basics of programming and start their career in IT.
Peculiarities of the program:
♦ The course is based on the Harvard University CS50 program and last for 4 months
♦ The course is held in blended learning format, which combines online lectures and offline classes under mentors’ supervision
♦ Participation in the program doesn’t require any prior technical experience
♦ Course is free of charge
What will the graduate know?
Who can apply?
Participation in the program does not require prior technical knowledge and skills (although it is an advantage). However, the candidate should have upper-intermediate English-language proficiency (since most of the materials are in English).
How to apply?
Selection of students is done in 2 stages: a questionnaire and a test task. On the questionnaire stage candidates with intermediate or higher level of English are chosen. During the test task stage those who do the task better get privileged.
