On December 17 the Studway Awards, annual contest of achievements took place. Under the framework of Studway Awards the best projects of young ukrainians are awarded. Among all the nominees one student standed apart – it was Anton Golovachenko with his project of exoskeleton for the people with special needs.
The device is fixing to a body using special units and transducers and allows to learn to move after the adaptation period. The construction is made of the light metall thus it does not load the user and allows to move freely. Project has gained the lead in many contests and continues to raise its popularity in the research circles. There is a big possibility that this project will give the chance to many people with special needs to live their lives fully very soon.
BrainBasket Foundation and SmartMe University awarded Anton’s invention with the special prize – certificate for the participation at the workshop from SmartMe University.
