Hour of Code is an international initiative that popularizes IT among scholars by holding one free interactive informatics lesson. During the initiative lifetime, 140 million of scholars have taken part in it!
On December 5-11 under the frame of Computer Science Education Week, the Hour of Code will be held worldwide. In Ukraine, it will be empowered by Microsoft and BrainBasket Foundation.
We encourage you to join this initiative and to run such a lesson in your school or to help the teacher in your school organize it!
All the necessary materials and methodical recommendations are available online.You will need only several hours to prepare. This lesson will help to demonstrate that informatics can be really exciting and will inspire students to deepen their studies.
All interactive lessons are created using the Scratch environment and popular children computer games, such as Angry Birds, Minecraft, Star Wars, so that it can be held for scholars aged 5 to 11. You can watch and play these games absolutely free.
