BrainBasket Foundation became a partner of the IV stage of Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Informatics to be held in Khmelnitskiy from 30 March to 2 April 2016.
It is expected that this year the event will be attended by 134 students from all regions of Ukraine.
Ukrainian student Olympiad in Informatics held for students in grades 9-11. Younger participants stand at the level of 9 class. To already traditional programming languages Pascal, C and C ++ this year organizers have added Java and Python. Tasks for the Olympics are students who have taken part in it, some of which reach the International.
This year the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine due to lack of money has decided to reduce the number of students in all the Olympics due to lack of funding. For Olympiad in Informatics funds were allocated only for students 10 and 11 classes. Support of BrainBasket Foundation gives the opportunity to take also students of ninth grades. Students will be provided with accommodation and meals.
Ukrainian Student Olympiad – an annual students’ competition in Informatics, conducted in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
IV stage of pan-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Informatics is divided into two stages, each of which is offered to all participants 4 tasks and 4 hours to solve them. Set of objectives for each grade are the same. The task of the participants is to write solutions to certain algorithmic tasks on one of allowed programming languages.
